ABSTRACT EVALUATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ATTITUDE OF THE PARENTS AND THE ATTITUDE OF THE FORENSIC PRİSONERS AND THEİR LEVELS OF AGGRESSİON Aim: This study was conducted to determine the relationship between perceived parental attitudes and aggression levels in convicts who received criminal convictions. Method: The research was conducted in a descriptive design between December 15, 2019 and February 15, 2020 in Elazığ T Type Penitentiary Institution and Elazığ Women's Prison. The total number of prisoners to participate in the study was found to be 296 prisoners after calculating the sample size with a known universe. The study was completed on a total of 211 prisoners, after the erroneous and incomplete data were removed in the voluntary study. In the process of collecting data, Personal Information Form, Abbreviated Perceived Parental Attitudes Scale (KAETÖ) and Buss-Perry Aggression Scale (BPSÖ) were used. SPSS.22 for Windows package program was used to evaluate the data; Percentages, means, t test, Anova tests and Spearman Correlation analysis tests were applied on the data. Results: The average age of the researchers participating in the study is 33.22 ± 8.10, 83.9% of them are male. The total score average of the participants from KAETÖ was 103.12 ± 14.16, and the total score average they got from BPSÖ was 93.31 ± 18.61. xii
