Imprisoning and releasing criminals for a period of time does not mean that they have gained behavioral changes, reformed and are ready to adapt to society. Personal development is only possible through educational activities. Education activities in prison institutions develop a personalized training program and raise awareness about crime. If the rehabilitation aspect of prisons does not function properly, it is unlikely that individuals involved in crime will gain these benefits. In this context, it is important for social welfare whether the education programs carried out by prison institutions reach their goals in the education process evaluate the process. It is also important to evaluate the training practices carried out in criminal execution institutions in the event of the children being dragged to crime. The aim of this research is to examine, compare and evaluate the general and vocational training and other educational applications applied to delinquent children in penitentiary institutions from the republic to the present (between 1926–2005 and 2005– 2022). The research for this purpose uses historical analysis method. In light of the legislation on education practices in penal institutions, it is understood that important steps have been taken in general since 2005 and that a major improvement has been made in the general education practices of children who have been dragged to the crime.
