Seen as the miniature of adults in ancient times, children have become an important element to ensure social continuity today. The fact that juvenile delinquency became a common problem in the 19th century with the Industrial Revolution, paved the way for the principle of child protection to come to the fore after this period. With the measures taken by national and international legislation, emphasis was placed on ensuring the well-being of the child. However, especially today, the increase in the number of children in relation to crime makes to think about the applicability of these contracts and reveals the need to develop alternative proposals. Based on this need, this study aims to contribute to the understanding of the risks children face before they are dragged into crime and the causes of juvenile delinquency. In addition, it is aimed to reveal what problems the children dragged into crime had after their release, what needs they had and what their expectations for the future are. Qualitative analysis has been used as a research method in addition to the literature review in this study. Nine person who were driven into crimes in their childhood were interviewed. This study focused on the crime stories, prison life, post-release exclusion and social cohesion based on the participants' life experiences. Therefore, the main problem this study focuses on is learning the causes of juvenile delinquency, what problems those who are dragged into crime at an early age experience after release, what needs they have and what their expectations are for the future. vi
